Single, Collaborative Environment.
Project teams often bring together an otherwise divided group of departments, divisions, companies, and locations. Since this usually represents the first time that this unique group has worked together, the project is often kicked off without having an effective collaborative infrastructure in place, leading to several sources of inefficiencies.
Fortunately, the days of storing everything in a shared folder and calling it "collaboration" are quickly coming to a close. Today's technology allows project teams to:
• Automatically retain version history and audit trails of documents
• Receive email alerts when documents have changed
• Automatically route documents through workflows
How we work:
Step 1: Upload Project Templates and References
There's no need to start from scratch. SPS will jumpstart your project with our best practice templates, methodologies, and sample tasks. We'll also upload any project or company-specific reference materials, such as Acronyms & Definitions lists, so your project team is equipped with everything they need for a successful start.
Step 2: Work with you
Your SPS Project Manager will work with you to define the appropriate roles and permissions for each group on your project team. The iTeamSite™ Product team is available to configure customized default views, so that each user automatically sees the information most relevant to them.
Step 3: Create Customized Workflows
Our Product Support Team will create any customized workflows, such as Deliverables Approval or Change Requests, that your project team may need to streamline these processes.
Step 4: Train Project Team
Your SPS Project Manager will work with you to determine the best format for training your project team and get them up to speed as soon as possible.
